About the Book
Cynthia Jo Ross follows up her children's book of poetry with Prairie Woman Poems for grown-ups to enjoy.
This gathers together poems written over the last few years including humor, haiku, and experiments with sonnets and other poetry forms.
Her sister, Virginia Allain provided many of the eye-catching photos to match the themes of the poems.

Designing books lets me combine my passion for photography and writing and I'm having a great time turning my mother's writing into books. Her book, My Flint Hills Childhood is the first of these. For her second book, the subject was my father, Clyde Owen Martin. My sister, Cynthia Jo Ross and I contributed to that one.
