About the Book
In April 2011 I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. Aspergers is a developmental disorder considered as a higher functioning form of autism that I have had, unknowingly, for my whole life. It means that my brain has developed differently and works differently.
People with Aspergers often develop special interests, activities that are all absorbing and as a result they become highly skilled or expert in that subject. My current special interest is kite aerial photography or KAP.
In this book I aim to present work that has been unconsciously influenced by my Aspergers traits and would perhaps not have been possible without the condition. Through these images I will force you look at the world differently, giving you a little taste of what it is like to have Aspergers. Showing how having a different perspective can be positive, providing a fresh, often unique, view of the world.
