About the Book
This is the first in a series of books showing the best of my photography of trains, and boats, and planes (and other devices as well). The highlight of 2011 was my trip in February to Poland and the former East Germany, and pictures from that trip make up the bulk of this collection.
Other venues include the newly-reopened Welsh Highland Railway, the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in Derbyshire (also newly re-opened), the Midland Air Museum in Coventry, the Severn Valley Railway and the Great Central Railway.
Future volumes will look back to earlier years as well as chronicling future travels.
The UK magazine 'Continental Modeller' said "...the railway subjects are recorded not just with technical skill but also an original and artistic eye."
