About the Book
Ann Shelbourne is a professional photographer and graphic designer who lives in New York State. Ann trained in Photography at the Guildford College of Art in England and her professional work has covered a wide field which has ranged from fine jewellery and antiques to Industrial and Advertising photography. A keen traveller, she loves to photograph the places and inhabitants in all the places that she visits and is particularly fascinated by all forms of wildlife—both plants and animals. Ann has found the rich variety of the flora and fauna and the magnificent scenery in South Africa particularly thrilling and these photographs are the result of several expeditions which she has made to different parts of that country. Most of the photographs in this book were taken in the wild on some of the private Game Reserves which border on the Kruger Park in South Africa while many of the smaller creatures and the flowers were photographed in various parts of the Cape.
