      Daniele Alfani nasce a Loreto (An), dove i suoi genitori si sono trasferiti per motivi di lavoro da Arezzo, città nella quale ritorna all'età di tre anni e dove tuttora vive. Si è sempre dedicato con passione all’arte pittorica, sperimentando le varie tecniche.
      Tra il 1979 e 1980 prende parte a un corso di Arti grafiche organizzato dalla Provincia di Arezzo, svoltosi principalmente presso la galleria-studio di Roberto Remi, dove apprende la tecnica dell’acquaforte e altri metodi di incisione e stampa. Tra il 1981 e il 1989 partecipa a varie mostre collettive. Nel contempo intreccia un’intensa attività di mail art (arte postale) con artisti di tutto il mondo, arrivando a organizzare due mostre ad Arezzo, che nei primi anni Novanta attirano l’attenzione del canale Video Music.
      Nel 2002 è selezionato fra i trenta finalisti del Premio Nazionale “Arte Mondadori”. Nello stesso periodo entra a far parte del Cenacolo degli Artisti Aretini.
      Nel 2011 allestisce una personale alla Villicana D’Annibale Galleria D’Arte di Arezzo, dal titolo Un viaggio colorato, dove espone pitture e sculture realizzate con materiali di recupero.
      Ad aprile 2012 partecipa alla mostra collettiva > cm2 900: 40 Artisti Contemporanei a San Sepolcro, presso la Fondazione Alessandrini. La sua arte è accanto a quella di maestri come Schifano, Gentilini e Montuschi.

      Danielle Villicana D'Annibale is an American artist, art dealer, and collector. She is the Founder and CEO of Villicana D'Annibale, Inc., an art gallery and artist agency headquartered in Pasadena, California. She is also Founder and Artistic Director of Via Cavour 85, an experimental space for contemporary art in Arezzo, Tuscany in Italy. ​ Born in San Francisco and raised in Pasadena and Laguna Beach, she earned a B.A in Art history and the Visual Arts from Occidental College in 1994 and a Diploma in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Arti) in Rome in 2006. ​ ​Danielle has been actively promoting contemporary art and culture with her husband light designer Maurizio D'Annibale since 2010, organizing over 100 exhibits and numerous cultural events as well as creating over 50 artist catalogues and monographs.
