I have been fascinated by the primal Mount St. Helens landscape since I first saw it in 2003. In August 2010, I spent 14 glorious days immersed in and photographing the volcano's dramatic features. This Photo Essay is a result.

Bruce is a lapsed research zoologist. He discovered and subsequently pursued the arts following a tour of European art museums. He has been a gallery owner, museum manager, art museum curator, picture framer and art installer. In 2001, Bruce's casual interest in landscape photography blossomed when he began to discover his "voice."
