She has documents, photographs, papers – testimonies to his Resistance work in Belgium and France and his flight to freedom in the hope of rejoining the war effort via Spain and one of Franco’s prisons, Portugal and then by flying boat to Ireland then England; landing in Poole on Christmas Eve 1943. From London, he continued his war.
