      In the years since its inauguration in 2007, the Battle for the Airfield World War II re-enactment has become one of the most eagerly anticipated of the Collings Foundation's annual events, drawing hundreds of Allied and German re-enactors and thousands of spectators to the Stow, Massachusetts headquarters. Photographer-filmmaker David Watts, Jr. takes the reader on a visual tour of this unique living history event.

As a photographer, he works in a variety of formats in portraiture, photojournalism, commercial, and documentary projects.
