About the Book
After the residency, the participating artists of the Workshop Offline - Between Transits and Journeys each designed 6 pages to be included in a collective artists book, that we now present. More that a catalogue or a reminiscence, this book marks a new moment in the residency experience and research. This Artists Book offers a collective approach on the pertinence of artistic residencies in the contemporary visual arts, emphasising collaborative processes and working within a site-specific framework, involving local and ephemeral communities to be actively engaged in the creative process.
The Triangle Network workshops are coordinated by artists led organisations, all over the world, and pursue a peer-to-peer approach.
