      About the Book

      Edit

David Creedon’s photographs encapsulate the frequently overlooked and largely unspoken experiences of those who stayed in rural parts of Ireland during the twentieth century when other family members left for cities in Ireland, England, the United States of America and elsewhere. They also capture the prevalence of the iconography of Catholicism in everyday home life.
