Winter Time in Zermatt is a black-and-white photographic study of alpine winter — captured during my stay in this remarkable village beneath the Matterhorn.

This book documents the quiet intensity of winter in Zermatt — the sharp geometry of snow-covered roofs, the stillness of early mornings, the texture of ice and shadow across mountain slopes. By removing color, the images focus on structure, contrast, and atmosphere, allowing the landscape to speak through light alone.

The photographs were taken around Zermatt during different winter conditions, capturing both the grandeur of the surrounding peaks and the intimate details of village life.

This is not a travel album. It is a visual interpretation of winter — precise, restrained, and defined by the presence of the mountain above it.
