First generation Irish-American brothers John and Vincent were young men studying to be catholic redemptorist priests when they created a book celebrating the silver wedding anniversary of parents William Ryan (of Roscommon Ireland) and Elizabeth McGann (of Sligo Ireland). The couple married in 1917; featured in the book are nine children: John, Vincent, Mary, Rose, Dorothy, Billy, Gertrude, Josephine and Paul
