About the Book
"Off Season" is a running project (2006-2009)

that eventually came out as an exhibition. The majority of images in the first chapter are captured off season in a recreational park in the town of Drøbak, Norway.



In addition there are three more chapters, presenting selections of my images in the categories of "People and Places", "Landscape" and "Creative/Minimalist/Abstract".

Vidar Nordli-Mathisen (b 1955 in Harstad/Norway) After many years as a professional photographer I started to struggle with a lack of inspiration and passion for my work. The camera was put aside, and I moved over to a different field of the creative media industry. With the breakthrough of serious digital photography I started shooting pictures again a few years ago. The passion is back! 2008 Editor's Award for Excellency, Winter 2008 in Photoicon (UK art photography magazine) 2008 One of 111 participating artist in the world wide Photo Art Project "Hypo-X" - including Front Cover image on the book presenting the Project. 2009 "Off Season" - Exhibition in "Galleri Varmbadet", Drøbak Norway
