About the Book
This first book by Canadian literary poet Jill Stephanie Morgyn was edited by Canadian Governor General's Award-winner Robert Hilles and sponsored by the Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta, Canada.
Ms. Morgyn is a writer who transports us on an intimate inner journey through the realms of shamanism, mythology, meditation and devotion, while conjuring up in each moment a natural world alive with the cries of birds, the spicy scent of a mossy forest, or the soft strains of a mandolin player carried by the ocean breeze at night.
This is a book to be read secretly and savored, kept by a favorite reading chair, or taken as a companion while traveling.
