Lecia is an artist and adventurer who doesn't really swashbuckle even though the job description required it. She's a California native who has taken her camera to 45 countries and all 7 continents, they’ve circumnavigated the northern hemisphere's land masses by train and gone from the tip of Antarctica to the top of Colombia by land and sea. Her photography philosophy comes from a desire to destroy the old adage "familiarity breeds contempt." She tries to capture the everyday beauty around her by creating intimate portraits of the things often taken for granted. She accomplishes this by making big things little and little things big. She has published a collection of her macro flower photography, the Storybook Series; a book of art created while on a road trip with fellow artist Meagan Healy, Wish You Were Here, Big Horn Basin, Wyoming; and has been included in two collections of street photography, Street Exposé Global Street Photography I & II
