His designs have been featured on HGTV and in many regional and national publications. Steven holds a B.A. in English from Sonoma State University and enjoys writing and blogging regularly. His writing and photography have been featured in a number of horticultural books and magazines. His first book, Plantsman: Notes from a California Landscape Designer, was published in 2006.
