This book illustrates a three week road trip I took with my girlfriend Hannah. We traveled from Vermont to California, seeking solitude and adventure in the natural environment.

The images are a collection of the diverse landscapes that we explored and temporarily lived in. I have chosen not to include where each photograph was taken because I feel that labels can take away from the essence of the photograph. I want to share these places and the feelings that they evoke.

I am in awe of the natural world, and I hope that these photographs will give the viewer a greater respect for nature and its importance to us.
