    This catalogue is of an exhibition, Collaborative Vision: The Poetic Dialogue Project, curated by Beth Shadur, featuring the works of 31 visual artists who have been paired with 31 poets to create collaborative works of art. The works include works in all media, and the exhibition appeared at the Chicago Cultural Center January 31-

    April 5, 2009, and will travel to Indiana State University and Bowling Green State University in later 2009.

    Beth Shadur is an artist who has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions throughout the world, and has curated numerous exhibitions, including several for The Poetic Dialogue Project, pairing visual artists with poets. Her work appears in numerous publications, including Twentieth Century Watercolors, and The Special Unit, Its Evolution Through Art. Shadur is a Ragdale Fellow, and was awarded the Thomas Watson Fellowship from Brown University. She has created over 125 murals throughout the United States and Great Britain, and her work is owned in many public and private collections. Her work has appeared at museums and galleries, including the Art Institute of Chicago and atThe Drawing Center in New York. She has served as a visiting artist at many universities, and is an Artist In Education for the Illinois Arts Council.
