      Susan Leyland è una scultrice le cui opere tolgono il respiro per lo splendore e la leggiadria che sanno esprimere.
      Chi ama i cavalli e il mondo equestre non potrà non apprezzare le sue sculture compiute con delicatezza e originalità. Le forme elitarie di uno degli animali più legati all’uomo da sempre, sono espletate dall’artista inglese con una grazia che i maestri del Rinascimento toscano come Verrocchio e Donatello, ma anche il noto pittore inglese settecentesco di cavalli, George Stubbs, apprezzerebbero.
      La scultura della Leyland è in continua evoluzione. Il suo obiettivo è proporre soluzioni tendenti a innovare l’interpretazione del cavallo nell’arte. Ogni opera ferma, come in un’istantanea, uno specifico stato d’animo o una circostanza nella quale soggettivamente riconoscersi.
      Pure il destino dell’artista britannica si è incrociato con quello di Vittorio Sgarbi. È stata infatti da lui selezionata per la 54° Edizione della Biennale di Venezia, svoltasi dal 17 dicembre 2011 al 30 gennaio 2012 a Torino.

      Danielle Villicana D'Annibale is an American artist, art dealer, and collector. She is the Founder and CEO of Villicana D'Annibale, Inc., an art gallery and artist agency headquartered in Pasadena, California. She is also Founder and Artistic Director of Via Cavour 85, an experimental space for contemporary art in Arezzo, Tuscany in Italy. ​ Born in San Francisco and raised in Pasadena and Laguna Beach, she earned a B.A in Art history and the Visual Arts from Occidental College in 1994 and a Diploma in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts (Accademia di Belle Arti) in Rome in 2006. ​ ​Danielle has been actively promoting contemporary art and culture with her husband light designer Maurizio D'Annibale since 2010, organizing over 100 exhibits and numerous cultural events as well as creating over 50 artist catalogues and monographs.
