About the Book
The photographs in this book reveal a vanished landscape, the railroad yards of Denver, in the late 1970s. Influenced by the city's beautiful light at dawn and dusk, the black and white infrared images form an impressionistic portrait of one of the oldest and indeed, most secret, parts of the city.

About the Creator
Diane Rabson
Boulder, Colorado, USA
I have worked as a curator, archivist, and oral historian in Denver and Boulder, Colorado, since 1980. From 1978 to 1979, I was the first female locomotive fireman on the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad in Pueblo, Colorado. I have written a memoir about that time entitled "Planet Railroad," also available from Blurb. I am currently working on another book (untitled) about Denver in the late 1970s.
