Peter was born in Liverpool to an Irish family and received an education at Saint Joseph's Academy of Hard Knocks. He left school at fourteen and after a lifetime of adventure, surviving the Blitz, chasing Nazis in Hamburg, serving in the NZ airforce and working in radio and tv commericals in Hollywood, he eventually settled down to writing. He is a published author of three books. Tom Kipper’s Schooldays, Tom Kipper : The War Years and A Long Time Ago. He is now retired and living with his wife Carmelisa in California.
