About the Book
“Diaries” is a fiction combining photographs of diverse male models and texts written by myself and presented as if taken from the models’ diaries, intended as an exploration of gay urban lifestyle.
In its simple form, “Diaries” seeks interaction with the viewer as they access these men’s intimacy. The texts are an attempt to go beyond pleasing the eye and share or confront experiences or point of view on sexuality, homosexuality, relationships, self confidence, growing older, loneliness... Hopefully, the viewer can relate to these subjects, which are part of the individual identity and as such, this project celebrates diversity and even more importantly universality.

I was born in Paris in 1977, but I am originally from Martinique. Robert Mapplethorpe's Black Book decided me to become a photographer. I now shoot mainly male nudes. Some of my work can be seen in the following anthologies: Night Visions published by Bruno Gmünder and David Leddick's The Male Nude 21st Century Visions.
