About the Creator
Photographer born in 1997 in Israel, based in France. She currently studies for a BA (Hons) Arts and Humanities at the Open University. Growing up unschooled, Gat’s practice has been developed through a wide array of activities, including workshops with professionals and intensive internships in photography/art spaces. Gat also teaches photography workshops. Gat’s work won the 1st Prize of Festival Portraits in 2016; has been exhibited since 2012 (including a show in Brooklyn, NYC in 2015) and is shown on various platforms such as Fisheye Magazine, The Eye of Photography and See Me. Gat’s curatorial project Family Business highlights the context of her thematic, family documentation, from a variety of different angles, presenting international photographers in exhibitions in France and New York.
