About the Book
And so begins a photographic journey through diverse locales around the globe as Christina Dikas finds beauty in candid moments and beautiful landscapes. The vividly colored photographs are paired with clear and present prose that transport the reader and weave stories of solitude-- sometimes quiet and contemplative, sometimes curious and funny, and sometimes glorious.
Christina Dikas is a San Francisco-based photographer, avid traveler, writer, and architectural historian. Her photos have been published by The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) and are currently being featured in TCLF's the nationwide touring exhibition "The Landscape Architecture of Lawrence Halprin." She has also photographed buildings for the Historic American Building Survey (HABS).
