      Anushay Said
      New York, NY

      Anushay is currently working with the World Bank Institute with the Urban and Local Government Program. She is also pursuing a PhD in Public and Urban Policy at The New School in New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Master of Arts Degree in International Affairs from The New School. Anushay has worked in Pakistan, India, Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam, Kenya, Ethiopia, and other countries. Anushay is the co-founder and director of difrent: a company that focuses on using the power of music for social change in local communities. Anushay was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. Her fieldwork also includes various projects and studies in Pakistan on issues such as women's rights, youth participation, textile and apparel industries, etc. Anushay is fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi; with basic knowledge of Arabic and Portuguese.
