About the Book
This is the story of a boy born in an Oklahoma oil field in 1923 who endured the Great Depression. His family moved frequently in order to follow the oil; therefore, he attended a variety of public schools. In spite of the lack of luxuries, he flourished in school. After graduating from high school, he attended two semesters at Oklahoma A & M College, during which time Pearl Harbor was attached by the Japanese. Then the pace of life quickened and he soon found himself working for the Government in Washington, D.C. After the war he served at the CIA for eight years and Eastman Kodak Company for a bit more than 26 years. Through it all, Life was good. . . most of the time.
