The schoolhouse is located in Baileys Harbor Door County Wisconsin. Built in 1917 to house 1st through 8th grades, this piece of living history is now operated as a 7-suite inn. The information included covers the early days of District #1 starting in 1862 through the present day. By publishing the book, the authors hope to encourage others to share their stories about and photos of the building.
