About the Book
From sea to shining sea, jump in the Tinyvette, a 24 Hours of Lemons Opel GT race car, and make a practice run to New York City, grab a bagel and schmear, then make the 2,922 mile dash back to California. Yes, a double Cannonball Run.

About the Creator
Mike Meier
Esparto, CA, United States
Scientist, racer, writer. In a former life I did research into the behavior of alloys at high temperature, taught materials science courses, and ran an x-ray analysis and microscope facility. With that now over 10 years behind me I am pursuing my childhood passion of racing cars along with what was once my a most difficult thing for me, writing. I now publish the Opel Motorsport Club's quarterly newsletter, have self-published a book about racing in the 24 Hours of Lemons and most recently the tale of Don Michaelson's and my horrible idea, attempting a Cannonball Run in a Lemons racer Opel GT. Never one to be out of ideas, I'm working on an even more horrible idea and writing about racing, road tripping, and science.
