About the Book
A series of monumental Hudson River School landscape paintings are subjected to industrial development. In this collection Will Gurley uses photomontage to repurpose iconic Hudson River School paintings into critiques on Americas modern relationship with nature. They explore landscape painting and conceptual place making as a methodological approach to ecology.
