      Edit

This is a song of not just a survivor, but a reviver. This poetry collection is all about healing from your wounds and finding purpose in your pain. Talia writes about her experiences with rape, abuse, a brain disease, misogyny, and so much more. It can't get more intimate and vulnerable than this!

Talia Clementine (she/they/he) is an Artist, Poet, Teacher, Photographer & Organizer. They've been published by Thought Catalog, Love What Matters, Yahoo, The Mighty, & released their book Breadcrumbs in 2019. They have performed at The National Poetry Slam, the 2018 Philadelphia March To End Rape Culture, The Wilma Theatre & many more. A graduate of Yolanda Wisher's School of Guerilla Poetics, Talia incorporates art into her service of the people. Their art is all about exploring the depths of our humanity & exploring the ways in which trauma effects the human spirit. Their life's mission is to dismantle the patriarchy, end the eviction crisis, replace rape culture with accountability culture, end white supremacy, and upend the stigma around mental illnesses. Despite her sometimes sad work, she is an extremely happy individual. She enjoys cartoons, dancing, and above all else: a good nap! ***currently working on rereleasing Breadcrumbs without Talia's deadname "Mingey"***
