When I think of Water and Beauty Models I think of fairy tales and rebirth and new beginnings, a washing away of sorts.
I created this theme because I had always wanted to photograph such a concept, it seems so easy and simple, right? well, it's not as easy as it may seem. A lot of thought goes into, just simply photographing your model in your backyard pool, from the outfit to the makeup, can your model float, swim, will she be able to model in the water in a dress/ wardrobe other than a swimsuit or will she just sink?
Well, we tested that out when my best friend and mode came to visit.
And I can't be any happier! this edition took on a life of its own, from the different images and moods of the shoot to some unusual senior portraits with our feature artist Photographer Kasey Vaitekunas of One Sweet World Images to the pure artsy of Lance Miller, to our river lake beauties.
