Rumination focuses on the underrepresented aspects of depression including the daily experience that feel diminished in today’s society. This photographic series is installed as floating sculptural prints made of silk organza. Walk into a room filled with floating silk images these photographs become forms; delicate, floating translucent fluid moments.

Sarah Weiss has long admired the art of photography. In 2012 she completed her BFA from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a concentration in photography. In Spring 2016, Weiss received her MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
