cellphone/sunroof is an ongoing photo project born from the monotonous and taxing L.A. commute. The images in this book were shot with a 1.3 megapixel cell phone camera, through an open sunroof. No shots were staged. These images are a study of form, texture, color, and chance. They are about capturing a single moment in time when a new vantage point makes the ordinary unique.
