About the Ebook
My mom is black, my dad is white, and I identify as mixed, so much so that I sometimes feel more in common with someone who is, say, half-Chinese and half-Mexican than with the average white American. Being mixed doesn’t just mean being the center of a Venn Diagram, it’s an identity unto itself. That identity is the one explored in the following photographs and interviews with other mixed residents of the San Francisco Bay Area.
