      About the Book

      The Rabbit Family is MISSING!

“Come on, Boomer, let’s go feed the critters! It’s that time of day.” Mom said, while patting the side of her leg.
Jumping up from my lite doze I gave myself a good shake as I followed Mom to the back door.
Feeding the critters is one of Mom and my chores. We do it every day, first thing in the morning. Mom likes to feed first thing in the morning so all those animals termed ‘food’ by the night predators are not hanging around the feed area. They are tucked safely in bed.

We trotted out to the granaries, well I trotted and Mom walked. Loading up the gain bucket Mom and I headed over to the combine parking area.
Once there I started sniffing around….Momma Deer and baby Princess were here, a whole slurry of raccoons, birds, lots and lots of birds: pheasants, Gambol’s Quail, and song birds.
Hummm, everyone present and accounted for, but wait!

      Where are the Rabbits?

My name is Linda Brown. I live on a farm on the western slope of Colorado, in the high mountain desert. I’ve lived here all my life, hailing back four generations on my father’s side. Today I blog about our farm, the everyday activities that keep the farm going. I started writing dog stories on Friday about our two farm dogs (Fuzzy and Boomer) and their take of their life on our farm. After Fuzzy passed over the rainbow bridge I started writing Sherlock Boomer stories. The lovely thing about blogging it opens the world to all of us. Because of my many blogging friends and their encouragement I am now expanding my dog stories into paper books and ebooks. Your Friend on a Western Colorado Farm, Linda Brown
