Alicha Martinez grew up in southern California where she studied fine arts and children’s literature. She currently resides in southern Arizona where she is working on a bachelor's degree in media arts and animation. Alicha has over five years experience working in early education with ages three and five. All of her inspiration comes from interacting with young minds and observing the early developmental stages. She has found children to be resilient, loving, and funny by nature. It is her desire to continue writing and illustrating for children everywhere, and she is excited to be self-published.
