Joanne Cowan, a flight enthusiast, is keen to attract enthusiastic youth, and those not so young, to the fun of flying planes. The reason? There are so many awesome opportunities which await the recreational pilot! Having this license is a great step towards a lucrative career for those interested in moving ahead and becoming commercial pilots. The first step to do this? Education. So... learning the parts of a plane is a good start! Joanne is a retired kindergarten teacher, who is very happy to share this world of discovery with parents and children who like to read together!
