I am the youngest child of Leonard Swedlund, Captain of the Star Dust, B-17 Flying Fortress. Using his WW 2 scrap book as the foundation, this book is a collection of Len's and the Star Dusts crew members personal war experiences from training through their 28 missions over Europe. To put their war time experience into perspective, the book grew into include a general overall history of WW 2. It is meant to provide a record of their war experiences to be handed down to the next generations so the memory of what they did is never forgotten. This is a non profit book.
