Bluemoonistic Images is a web-based photography business that specializes in "Photography for Mountain Lovers". Dale R. Carlson is the photographer with 40 plus years of experience, most recently focusing on the natural beauty and culture of the Blue Ridge Mountains. HIs wife, Becky, is Art Director for their many projects.

A significant part of the Appalachian culture revolved around the railroad heritage of the region. Their first e-book, "Mountain Rail Tales" captures the essence of how this railroad heritage is preserved and reutilized in Appalachia through their images.
