Luciana Benaduce


Luciana is a brazilian artist who lives in Amsterdam. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She finished her Master degree (2011) at HKU in Utrecht. She graduated in Social Studies with a major in contemporary photography at Faap (Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado) SP, Brazil. In 1992, she was a student at the ICP, in New York. After that she started to work as a still photographer . She has photographed scenes of “ Canta Maria, by Franscisco Ramalho Jr.” “Caixa 2 “by Bruno Barreto” and “Falsa Loura” by Carlos Reichenbach, among other films . She has acquired experience and knowledge with important photographers such as Feco Hamburger, Willy Biondani, Claudio Edinger, Penna Prearo e Adi Leite. She has also studied contemporary photography and art with Eduardo Brandão (Galeria Vermelho). In 2001, she received the Porto Seguro Honorable Mention Award of Photography. In 2004, she participated in the “ 1st Salão Aberto”, an exhibit which was held parallel to the XXVI Bienal Internacional SP
