Madeleine Hay is currently working as an artist, designer and poet. An artistic entrepreneur & multidisciplinary artist, Madeleine has professional experience in the high-end fashion design and interior design worlds as well as a foundational education in the fine arts. Achieving a BA in Apparel Design from RISD, Madeleine works with a multi-faceted and intuitive approach in all of her projects. Madeleine’s personal and commissioned artworks encompass a vast range of mediums and modalities. Whether it is designing womenswear apparel, painting a piece of fine artwork or composing a poem, the usual way Madeleine begins a creation is by a wisp of imagining followed by a zen-like approach of thought and reflection. The common thread throughout Madeleine’s art and design work are the whimsical and colorful qualities present. The mind is a vessel, the hands are the tools, and the work is the avenue of expression to inspire others.
