Olivium is an independent platform focusing on the theme of peace, a major concern at a time when geopolitical forces are radically in flux and the world is confronted with systemic-level challenges. In our journalism and research, we aim at addressing any issue (whether it be political, economic, environmental, societal, social, or cultural) that threatens to put peace at stake internationally; our main focus is on the Middle East and Europe, two neighbouring regions currently grappling with rising instability. Olivium is a site of collaboration between analysts, researchers, and journalists, but also members of the public willing to collaborate, share their thoughts and findings, and build a serious alternative to mainstream media.
