I work in my studio. Buzzpie studio. It's on an island in Narragansett bay.

Astrophysics, physics, mythology, philosophy, religion, nature, contemporary cultural fixations, surrealism and humor are a partial list of ingredients required for her artpies. Glorious COLOR is an essential partner in pretty much everything.

Artistic influences include but are in no way limited to; William Blake, Gustave Moreau, Odd Nerdrum, Rembrandt, Rene Magritte, Cindy Sherman (the early works). In the field of film, Stanley Kubrick remains number one. Ridley Scott and Jane Campion are brilliant as top shelf as well. To experience a great moving picture is one of the supreme joys in my life.

Reading is really important. Writers of note include; but are NOT limited to; Ovid, C.S. Lewis (particularly the space trilogy), Philip Pullman, Ajahn Chah, Margaret Atwood, Barbara Kingsolver, and Science Fiction in general
