Sable Island lies off the coast of Nova Scotia. Often lost in fog, it is the stuff from which legends are made. Ship wrecks, daring rescues, off shore oil rigs and now tourism are all part of its history. It's a place where wild horses still roam. Cut off from civilization, they walk the land. Officially proclaimed a Canadian National Park in December 2013, the park's development plan is still under construction.
