About the Book
Lillian’s writings have documented a way of life that has disappeared. She has frozen moments in time by her written words. These are beautiful, heartfelt memories of her life on a potato farm in Northern Maine. Her career as a teacher shines through many of the stories by her inclusion of historical events in relationship to herself and her family. Some of the stories are very personal and must have taken much courage to share with the readers. Most importantly, she has described our family’s rich heritage and brought life to the family members that we will never know.
