1sneakernation was started by founding partners John Hairston and Johan Jean in the spring of 2013. John has a degree in Chemistry from East Carolina University and a background in business management. Johan Jean also has a background in business management and in collectable sneaker consignment sales. Johan and John Co-Authored their first book "1sneakernation's Top 50 Kicks of All Time".
