Karey Walter is a recognized fine art, black and white photographer and educator. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1968, she holds a M.F.A. degree from this University of Utah. Ms. Walter currently directs the photography program at The Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia, where she has taught for the past nineteen years. Ms. Walters’ collection varies from black & white and color documentary photography, to landscapes from across the United States, Mexico, and Europe. Her current body of work is based on mixed media concepts. In addition to creating art she has taught workshops with SCAD, The Rocky Mountain School of Photography, Spoleto Study Abroad, The Pozos Art Project, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, The Showcase School, MediaNOLA, and The Society of Photo Educators.
