Tony Boxall

About

Tony Boxall discovered photography by accident and found his best-remembered subjects, the gypsies, by chance. But there was nothing random or lucky about the dedication, effort and skill that earned him hundreds of honours and awards and made him one of the top ranked amateur photographers in the world.

Sadly, Tony passed away just before Christmas 2010; his reputation meriting a near full-page obituary in the Times. He will be missed by his family and a legion of friends but his photographic legacy will live on forever.
