Judy Mitchell lives in Niagara Falls, Ontario with her husband Gale, dog Jakes and cat Sparky.

A retired pharmacist, Judy now spends most of her free time on the golf course. Miraculously, she once even managed a hole in one -- and made the local newspaper for her efforts.

Judy is the proud grandmother of Lauren and Erin, to whom her book "Violet the Purple Cow and her Sister Buttercup" is dedicated.
