Born 1952, Graduated (Sheffield) 1974, Almost-pilot 1978, Married 1980, Wife Marylyn, two daughters Sarah (1985) and Amy (1991) 30+ years automotive experience with Rolls-Royce (later Bentley) Motors. latterly as Laboratory Manager, ending on a high, taking early retirement in October 2010. Dedicated family man, reasonably travelled. Long-playing, but unspectacular guitarist, incurable fix-it addict, will mend, or attempt to mend anything.
